The COVID Swamp King walked into an event at the University of South Florida and saw that the students who were going to stand behind him were masked and said, “You don't have to wear these masks. I mean, please take them off. Honestly, it doesn't matter. We need to stop with COVID theater. If you want to wear it, fine, but it's ridiculous.

DeSantis doesn't want to be seen with people in masks standing behind him because he thinks it will hurt him with Republican primary voters in 2024. DeSantis was clearly annoyed with students for thinking of others while wearing masks.

The students listened to the governor's little crisis and took off their masks because he is the governor and they are kids. His assertion that they could leave them on if they wanted to was an intimidation tactic.

Ron DeSantis will not be the next president, and his act of mini-Trump will earn him no votes in 2024. Ron DeSantis continues to show that he is utterly unfit for the presidency and more than willing to risk his life for improve his standing as the 2024 presidential candidate.
