Covid-19: 40 million French people fully vaccinated, cases increase in intensive care

The milestone of 2,000 patients in intensive care has been crossed. With 101 new patients admitted to intensive care in the past 24 hours, France crossed the threshold of 2,000 patients in intensive care due to Covid-19 on Wednesday August 18 . Another milestone, that of the 40 million French people who now have a complete vaccination schedule.

Third dose of vaccine. After Israel, the United States will in turn offer a third injection to people who have received two doses of Pfizer or Moderna eight months after the second. This recall campaign will start from September 20. The WHO is concerned about this vaccine booster that it does not consider scientifically necessary.
