Investigation underway after police shooting in Washington Heights

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, Manhattan (WABC) — An investigation is underway after a police-involved shooting in Washington Heights.

A man was shot by officers near W. 168th Street and Fort Washington Park around 8:15 p.m. Sunday.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown.

A firearm was later recovered at the scene.

The suspect is currently in stable condition.

The woman was rushed to the hospital after getting shot in Marble Hill.
