The Moroccan pavilion, strategically located in the heart of the exhibition (September 17-19), brought together 28 exhibitors representing public and private tourism stakeholders in the Kingdom. This included RAM, regional and provincial tourism centres, travel agencies and hotel groups, all working together to give Morocco "extensive visibility" and highlight its many strengths.

Carefully designed by the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), the Morocco stand saw a huge turnout from both individuals and professionals interested in partnerships and business opportunities with national exhibitors.

The stand occupied a massive 300m², with an additional two spaces dedicated to the regions in the spotlight: "Dakhla" and "Fès-Meknès", totalling 490m². "Two important destinations being highlighted to help develop Morocco as a destination in France and support existing air connections," according to the ONMT.

The event was also an opportunity for Morocco to receive a prestigious award from the Arabian Tourism Association, a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting tourism in the Middle East and North Africa.

Morocco was crowned "Best Destination of the Year 2024", an award presented to Jihad Chakib, ONMT delegate in Paris, following a vote by travel agents during the second edition of the Arab World Tourism Trophies, held under the theme "Towards a Better Quality of Service".

"IFTM Top Resa" is one of the most important events in the tourism industry in France and Europe. It offers a 360-degree view of travel, covering all types of trips (leisure, business and events). It is the only B2B exhibition that brings together all the professionals in the tourism industry in Paris each year.

With 1400 brands present, 170 international destinations and 90 conferences and debates, IFTM Top Resa offers a complete immersion into the world of travel, showcasing the entire range of expertise in the market. In 2023, the exhibition attracted 30,349 professional visitors (compared to 29,475 in 2022).
