Multiple blasts have rocked the Gaza Strip after the IDF reportedly launched a series of airstrikes in apparent retaliation to border clashes, in which an Israeli soldier was critically wounded earlier in the day.
The first strikes hit the enclave shortly before midnight, according to witnesses and Palestinian media reports. Multiple videos circulating online show massive blasts allegedly hitting the strip on Saturday evening.

Israeli media suggested that the IDF was retaliating against Hamas, blaming the group for inciting border violence earlier in the day.

There was no immediate confirmation from the IDF, but Israeli military earlier announced it was sending “reinforcements” to the Gaza Division.
